The Fast Ferry Information Vessel Database carries up to date information on over 2400 fast ferries worldwide. There are up to 80 fields of data available on each vessel plus vessel history, more than 1500 photographs and details of Operators, Yards and Designers. Searches can be carried out on more than 50 of the fields.

Vessels listed include those built since 1956 and those currently on order, excluding only some hydrofoils that have never left the former USSR and some fast ferries in the People’s Republic of China and Japan.

The Fast Ferry Information Vessel Database can be installed from a CD-Rom or downloaded to run on a single PC or on a network.

Initial cost for a single user: £495 (+ VAT for European Union customers) This includes three quarterly data updates and any software upgrades within one year. With each quarterly update, subscribers also receive a pdf summarizing vessel movements (deliveries, transfers of ownership etc) and news of significant developments in the industry.

Network use: Additional £95 per additional terminal

Annual renewal: £270 single use and £95 per additional terminal

Vessel Summary
This is the first screen viewed on entering the system and initially lists all vessels on the database. From this page it is possible to search for one or more vessels on specified criteria, and to obtain details of individual Operators, Builders and Designers. It is also possible to modify the fields displayed and the order of vessels listed.

Searches are available on Builders, Operators and Designers and will produce a listing of their vessels and contact details for active companies. Pages can be printed out.
